Set up and operate dialysis machines and initiate dialysis per physician orders.;
Monitor patient during treatment; record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.;
Evaluate vascular access patency, perform cannulation, and administer heparin as allowed.;
Document treatment data accurately in the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and communicate changes to RN.;
Maintain infection control practices and assist in staff training and supply management.
