Maintenance Tech

Join our Team! Leland Management is seeking a Maintenance Tech in the Leesburg area. The position is full‑time with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Job Purpose
Maintains building environment and grounds by maintaining buildings, equipment, grounds keeping, and repair services.

Duties

• Secures building and occupants by maintaining alarm and fire protection devices.
• Keeps equipment operational, ensures systems and building are ready for use by completing preventive maintenance and janitorial schedules, maintains records, follows policies and procedures, completes repairs and installs replacement parts, reports needed changes.
• Maintains building accessibility and appearance by picking up litter from walkways and parking lot, cleaning pool area, painting, mowing, and cleaning surrounding landscape areas.
• Completes special requests by hauling files and boxes, moving furniture, setting up furnishings, preparing rooms for meetings, assembling public announcement and audio‑visual equipment, following manufacturer’s operating and care guidelines, completing repairs and installing replacement parts.
• Maintains pool area by dusting and polishing furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures, cleans counters, walls, ceiling, and woodwork, sweeps, scrubs, and waxes floors, requests products/supplies necessary for stocking restrooms and facilities.
• Maintains lighting by installing light bulbs and ballasts, repairs electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, including the tot lot.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
• Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Oversight of the community vendors to ensure their performance meets standards.
• Provides general maintenance requests, pressure washing and ensures the overall community aesthetics are consistently in proper order and maintained in top condition.
