Under the direction of the Plant Operations Director or designated Supervisor, duties of the Painter include, but are not limited to: painting, varnishing, stains, enamels, lacquers, and redecorating walls, woodwork and fixtures; mixing paint and matching colors; using brushes, sprayers or rollers to apply paint or other coatings; removing old finish using scraper, chemical compounds or blowtorch; filling nail holes, joints and cracks in walls with plaster or other filler;

replacing door or window glass; performing all work in accordance with established safety procedures; estimating time and material costs on painting and redecorating projects; requisitioning new painting supplies and equipment; working independently days, nights and weekends as needed.

• High School Diploma/GED

• Valid Driver's License
• This position requires driving a company vehicle and meeting the requirements of UF Health Central Florida Vehicle Policy.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
