Jay Berry Signs is a 3rd generation, full-service sign shop in Leesburg, FL.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Leesburg, FL for an Industrial Painter. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed, applying paint using various tools and techniques, and inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards. The role also involves maintaining painting equipment, following safety protocols, and collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications- Expertise in painting techniques, surface preparation, and paint application methods
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used for industrial painting, including spray guns and protective gear
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
- Physical stamina and dexterity, as well as the ability to work on ladders or scaffolding
- Understanding of workplace safety regulations and proper use of coatings and chemicals
- Proven experience in industrial/commercial painting is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in painting or related fields are a plus
