We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Nurse Manager who is dedicated to collaboration, operational excellence, and delivering patient-centered care. This leader will oversee three departments encompassing four specialties, with a total of 70 FTEs reporting to the role.
ResponsibilitiesThe Nurse Manager
, under the direction the Director is responsible for scheduling employees and coordinating patient flow and room turnover, overseeing supply and equipment management, coordinating training and orientation of new personnel, assisting in staff development, monitoring the departmental environment to ensure safe patient care and to evaluate and discipline employees and/or make effective recommendations regarding the same.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current Florida RN license required
CNOR certification required within 2 years of hire
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Perioperative Services
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Nursing Management
