Position: LPN (6+) - Shift 1 | Outpatient Adult Mental Health Services (800)
Job Purpose:

* The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The role requires a compassionate and dedicated professional who can effectively support the medical and emotional needs of patients in a behavioral health setting. This position is for Shift 1 and requires a minimum of 6 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.

* Monitor patient health by assessing vital signs and observing for any changes in condition.

* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

* Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.

* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

* Assist in emergency situations by providing appropriate nursing interventions.

* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in nursing care.

* Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients by adhering to established protocols and procedures.

* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
