We are seeking a Manager of Clinical Services to provide leadership and guidance to interdisciplinary care teams, ensuring patients and families receive high‑quality, person‑centered hospice care. This full‑time position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and may include on‑call responsibilities as needed.
OverviewThe Manager of Clinical Services provides direct supervision and leadership to hospice interdisciplinary teams—including registered nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains, and other clinical staff. The role ensures high‑quality, person‑centered care is delivered to patients and families across the service area, supports care planning, staff development, compliance, and facilitates collaboration between clinical teams and organizational leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision to assigned team members, including performance oversight, coaching, and delegation of responsibilities.
- Ensure clinical care adheres to individualized care plans and hospice regulations, organizational policies, and professional standards.
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly interdisciplinary team meetings to update care plans.
- Review clinical documentation for timeliness, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support patient care transitions and collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services on staffing and caseload distribution.
- Provide real‑time coaching and intervention on symptom management, family dynamics, ethical concerns, and complex care needs.
- Participate in hiring, orientation, training, and evaluation of clinical staff in collaboration with Human Resources and the Director of Clinical Services.
- Maintain awareness of quality, safety, and service concerns; implement corrective actions as appropriate.
- Assist in scheduling and coverage planning to meet patient needs, including after‑hours or weekend situations.
- Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities, implementing initiatives related to clinical quality and staff performance.
- Model professionalism, accountability, and compassionate care in all interactions with patients, families, and team members.
- Support documentation audits, surveys, or accreditation processes as assigned.
- Provide weekend or after‑hours leadership support as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current RN license in good standing, able to practice in the state of employment.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related setting required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in home and facility settings with reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrated empathy, sensitivity, and ability to support patients and families from diverse backgrounds.

$98,000 – $98,000 USD per year (actual pay based on experience, qualifications, location, and business needs).
