Under the direction of the director, the RN Charge Nurse utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care, performs other duties as assigned.
Hours may vary and could include four 10-hour shifts. Responsibilities- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
** The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent delegation and follow-through abilities, and recent hospital experience, preferably in a Charge Nurse or Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) role.**
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Candidates should demonstrate adaptability, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to manage multiple patients in a dynamic environment.
- A stable employment history is preferred. Candidates who have demonstrated commitment and longevity in prior roles are generally more likely to be successful long-term members of the team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
