- Operate diesel or gasoline-powered equipment at job sites and during transit
- Perform general construction tasks, including physical labor such as lifting materials up to 50 pounds and using hand tools
- Follow directions to deliver quality work and maintain safe work conditions in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
- Restore excavated areas by back filling trenches, leveling surfaces, and replacing removed materials as directed by the foreman or supervisor
- Travel for storm response with minimal notice
- Determine voltages and associated hazards
- Reveiw and adhere to minimum approach distances
- Demonstrate positive work relationships with internal and external teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Valid state driver’s license with a minimum of two years of driving experience and an acceptable driving record
- Six months of supervised equipment operation experience
- Ability to work effectively in both solo and team environments
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed
- Ability to work safely in all weather conditions, including inclement weather
- Strong self-starter with effective communication skills
