Perform mechanical repairs on commercial vehicles using technical expertise, diagnostic skills, and teamwork. Deliver professional, timely, and safe service to customers while maintaining a clean work area, completing accurate documentation, and following company procedures. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and commercial vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, steering, fuel, air, and DEF systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, wheel balancing, and alignments.
• Complete welding, fabrication, hydraulic repairs, clutch replacements, lighting repairs, and other mechanical work as needed.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while meeting company productivity standards.
• Maintain a high first-time repair success rate and minimize repeat repairs.
• Ensure all vehicles pass operational and safety inspections before release. Test drive vehicle to gauge performance.

• Utilize diagnostic software, engine code readers, and computer systems to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Apply mechanical knowledge, mathematical skills, and sound judgment to evaluate repair needs and determine corrective actions.
• Accurately diagnose vehicle failures and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Complete repair documentation with minimal errors.
• Demonstrate current knowledge of diesel engine technology and industry best practices.

• Provide professional, courteous service while communicating repair findings, timelines, and recommendations clearly.
