As a Staff Accountant in our Finance function within the Spine division, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, analysis, and support for monthly consolidations, while contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements.

• Serve as the primary contact for the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation of Spine financial results
• Prepare and analyze monthly management reporting for Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements
• Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and conduct detailed financial analysis
• Provide analytical support during the annual budget and planning processes
• Participate in Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance and external financial statement audits
• Prepare Federal, State, and other tax packages and filings
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives for journals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Respond to ad‑hoc financial analysis and information requests from business unit leaders
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of inclusiveness, cooperation, and high performance

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller or Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting or Finance required
• 2–3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including designing, building, and maintaining complex files
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and their application
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex accounting issues using independent judgment
• Experience with Oracle ERP and Hyperion Financials is a strong plus
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• CPA (or working toward designation) is an asset

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
