Senior Accountant

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 (depending on experience)

Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This individual will play a key role in month-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process
• Perform balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Prepare financial statements and management reporting
• Analyze account activity and investigate variances
• Maintain supporting schedules and accounting documentation
• Ensure accounting activities are completed in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
• Partner with other departments to research and resolve accounting issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general ledger and month-end close experience
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• ERP/accounting system experience preferred
