A technician capable of diagnosing and repairing most systems of the automobile, with little guidance or support from an A-Tech, Shop Foreman, or Team Leader. Efficient and effective at on the job learning to apply to new vehicles and technology when concerns arise. Improved diagnostic skills through training & experience, and competent in complex mechanical repairs.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair, a strong technical background, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. As an Automotive Technician with Safford Hyundai Leesburg, you will play a key role in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicle issues, ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

VA Safety and Emissions certifications are a plus.

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.

A technician that can perform common light duty services or repairs in an efficient manner.

An "entry level" technician:
Capable of oil changes, tire rotations, completing minor services, tire, and battery replacement etc. Can perform most tasks that do not require in-depth diagnostics or complex critical mechanical aptitude with guidance as needed upon researching work instructions, or after being taught the proper techniques first.
