SLED Contract Specialist

Vertosoft is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive SLED Contract Specialist to support the administration, compliance, and lifecycle management of State, Local, and Education (Sled) contracts and cooperative purchasing agreements. This role is responsible for managing contract activities from award through closeout, ensuring compliance with procurement requirements, maintaining accurate reporting, supporting strategic proposal efforts, and partnering with internal stakeholders to facilitate successful contract execution.

The ideal candidate has experience working within government contracting environments and possesses a strong understanding of state procurement processes, cooperative purchasing vehicles, and contract administration best practices. The selected candidate will serve as a trusted resource to internal teams while building productive relationships with customers, cooperative purchasing organizations, suppliers, and government procurement officials.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, legal studies, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience), 2+ years of experience in contract administration, government contracting, public sector procurement, or a related field, experience supporting State, Local, Education (Sled) contracts and/or cooperative purchasing agreements, working knowledge of state procurement processes and public sector contracting environments, strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Vertosoft offers a compensation range of $90,000 – $165,000 based on total on-target earnings (Ote), which includes base salary plus target bonus and/or commission, as applicable to the position. The position level and compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, and demonstrated expertise.
