Infant Teacher
Primrose School of Leesburg is looking for a warm, energetic, and passionate Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education family. In this role, you'll help create a safe, loving, and inspiring classroom where infants are supported, celebrated, and encouraged to reach important developmental milestones. - Provide attentive, responsive, and loving care for infants while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Bring the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum to life through engaging, age-appropriate activities and experiences.
- Encourage cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth through intentional, nurturing interactions.
- Create and maintain a clean, organized, and joyful classroom environment where infants feel secure and supported.
- Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and school policies with care and consistency.
- Share daily updates and meaningful communication with families about their child's experiences, growth, and milestones.
- Support feeding, diapering, soothing, and nap routines with patience and attentiveness.
- Observe, document, and celebrate each child's developmental progress and individuality.
- Collaborate with a supportive team of educators who are passionate about early childhood development.
- Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and school events that foster professional growth and community.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Early Childhood Education coursework preferred. - Experience working with infants in a childcare, preschool, or early learning environment preferred.
- Ability to meet all state licensing requirements and pass required background checks.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness and excitement to obtain certification).
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with infants throughout the day.
