Job Type: Part-time

Salary Range: $15 to $24 per hour

We are looking for someone to cover our staff’s scheduled leave, and cover unscheduled leave when available! You choose what works for you!

Job Overview:

Harrison Street Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Substitute Teacher to join our team. As a substitute teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for our preschool students. This position offers the opportunity to work with a team of experienced educators and make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

• Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for preschool students
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
• Follow classroom schedules and routines set by lead teachers
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Must have a passion for working with young children and creating a positive learning environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Must pass all required background checks and screenings
