we are seeking a dedicated and skilled early childhood specialist to join our team full-time, where you will have a significant impact on the lives of children, educators, and families. In this role, you will empower staff through intentional teaching, coaching, and curriculum development, enhancing their interaction skills and teaching techniques. Your expertise will help create positive, engaging learning environments while providing on-site instructional guidance, mentoring, and professional development.

we are currently hiring for the following location(s): prcs, 742 miller drive se, leesburg, va

responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • program implementation: facilitate the implementation of creative preschool programs that respond to the diverse learning approaches and developmental levels of children.
  • curriculum development: collaborate with educators to guide and support them in establishing and implementing program goals and academic curricula, ensuring alignment with best practices in early childhood education.
  • instructional leadership: organize demonstration lessons, assess teaching methods, and offer mentorship and coaching to educators, showcasing effective strategies and techniques for early childhood instruction.
  • continuous improvement: conduct classroom observations and assessments offering constructive feedback and strategies to enhance classroom interactions and teaching techniques and ensure optimal outcomes for children.
  • family engagement: support centers in developing and applying family engagement practices that empower families, in alignment with the parent, family, and community engagement (pfce) frameworks.
  • additional responsibilities: you may also undertake other specific duties as assigned to meet departmental goals and enhance our early childhood initiatives
