What You'll DoAs a Test Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our quality assurance process, combining hands-on technical work with strategic problem-solving. You'll design and develop innovative test solutions, lead troubleshooting efforts, and mentor team members while interfacing with customers to ensure their vision comes to life.
Key Responsibilities- Execute functional testing using comprehensive test procedures, ensuring products meet or exceed specifications
- Perform calibration of customer assemblies with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct diagnostic and troubleshooting on assemblies that don't pass tests, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Supervise and train test personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
- Prepare detailed test quotations and proposals for new projects
- Write, update, and refine test procedures to reflect evolving product requirements
- Partner with customer technical contacts to resolve test issues and optimize test strategies
- Design and develop functional test fixtures that enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Conduct design for testability (DFT) reviews to ensure products are optimized for testing
- Lead design for test reviews and contribute to process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Associate of Science (AS) degree in electronics or computer engineering with extensive electronic test experience, OR 5+ years of proven work experience in product testing, diagnostics, electronic design, and development
- Detailed knowledge of analog and digital components, circuits, and circuit analysis
- Advanced proficiency with test equipment including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, signal generators, spectrum and network analyzers
- Strong computer skills and technical aptitude
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of ISO processes and quality standards
- Hands-on experience with RF (Radio Frequency) test, measurement, and troubleshooting in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience with telecom test equipment
- Track record of mentoring and developing technical teams
