Description
As a Project Manager in the Transportation team, you will collaborate with team members on a diverse blend of projects with an emphasis on mentoring junior and senior engineers while guiding the development of design and technical documentation for public and private sector projects.
DescriptionAs a Project Manager in the Transportation team, you will collaborate with team members on a diverse blend of projects with an emphasis on mentoring junior and senior engineers while guiding the development of design and technical documentation for public and private sector projects.
Key Responsibilities Include- Leading the development of engineering solutions for multi-modal transportation projects through the application of Local, State & Federal design standards and regulations
- Leading design and creation of technical drawings in Micro Station Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD/Carlson design software
- Communicating across a multidisciplinary design team including coordination with clients and subconsultants
- Development of project proposal and oversight of project financials
- Participating in transportation association networking events, classes, trainings, and seminars
- Participation in business development activities including strategic planning, client outreach, and marketing pursuits
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university
- 5(+) years of experience in civil engineering, specifically transportation design
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm for team collaboration and mentoring junior engineers
- Familiarity with Micro Station or AutoCAD
- Professional Engineering Licensure (PE)
- Capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Client and Project Management
