Financial Accounting Analyst

We work with entrepreneurs and small businesses to streamline their financial back office and provide insightful financial reporting and analysis. We leverage technologies to increase efficiency and accuracy in our processes allowing us to provide real-time financial guidance to our clients, ultimately helping them increase revenues and profits.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data. With a focus on the desired reporting outcome, they will organize data to report performance to our clients. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership. Must be a self-starter comfortable managing your deliverables and working in a team environment.

• Daily bookkeeping for small businesses
• Use AI tools (Claude, etc) to create more efficient accounting processes
• Gather and organize sets of data in order to report key metrics
• Leverage efficient methods to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
• Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
• 0 - 3 years' accounting, financial analysis and modeling experience
• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Quickbooks or other accounting systems is a plus
• Experience with analytic tools such as Power BI & Tableau are also a plus
