Dinwiddie County is seeking an experienced Emergency Manager to lead the County’s emergency management program, coordinate with state, federal and local partners, and oversee training, planning, and grant activities. The role reports to the Fire & EMS Chief and may require irregular hours during emergencies.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), 3+ years in emergency management, and relevant certifications (NIMS IS series, IS-230, USFA 0-305)
