Acute Therapist

Responsibilities

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents aged 7-17? NSBH is on the lookout for a dedicated Therapist to join our Acute program, working Monday to Friday.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a caseload of 8-10 kids.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions weekly
• Offer groups daily
• Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure successful discharge

What You'll Love:

• Work with youth facing a variety of diagnoses.
• Help them transition safely back into the community.
• Utilize your strong time management and organizational skills.

Location: Beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, 40 miles Northwest of Washington DC. Named one of the best places to live by Money magazine. 45‑acre campus in a rural area on the northern edge of Leesburg with a gymnasium, beautiful outdoor campus and high ropes course. Excellent public school system.

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling, education).
• Prefered:
  Licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a Licensed Psychologist). Or, must be resident in counseling. Preference given to candidates with CSOTP and/or CSAC.
• Some experience with children/adolescents.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Subject to pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
