Overview
Our clinical department at North Spring Behavioral Healthcare is welcoming a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychologist to assist our residential team by providing psychological assessments as dictated by the treatment plan and within a time frame established by facility policy, psychotherapy and clinical care services for resident ages 7 to 17 and their families.
Responsibilities- Providing psychological assessments as dictated by the treatment plan and within a timeframe established by facility policy, providing psychotherapy services for residents to include individual, family and group therapy, scheduling and facilitating treatment team reviews and documentation, attending all treatment teams for assigned residents, attending weekly/monthly clinical supervision as assigned, and providing weekly clinical supervision as assigned.
- Approximately 80% to 100% of psychological evaluations are completed for the facility (dependent on clinical caseload). You will also coordinate multifamily/group/family education groups and must be available for staff training. On-call/weekend coverage for clinical services.

Qualifications- Doctorate in Psychology or related field.
- At least one year of recent experience in a residential setting with the target population; licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age. Offer subject to criminal background investigation and pre-employment drug screen.
- A combination of mental health experience and relevant education to deliver psychotherapy services; knowledge, skills, and abilities must be documented and verifiable by the application, interview, and references.
