Responsibilities

North Spring Behavioral Healthcare is currently hiring an Information Technology (IT) Specialist!

The Information Technology (IT) Specialist provides technical support for the entire facility. This position ensures all internal departments are provided with high‑quality systems technical support. Currently, this facility employs a Microsoft/Intel‑based architecture and will continue to incorporate Microsoft solutions to expand the infrastructure.

This is a full‑time position reporting to the CEO.

• Implement Windows‑based PCs in a networked environment in coordination with the corporate IT department.
• Troubleshoot individual workstations, ensuring a secure environment, and working cooperatively with the corporate office on various initiatives.
• Setup software, grant and maintain access rights, backup data, and provide support the facility in accordance with the corporate office.
• Responsible for maintenance and backup of the facility internal development servers. Support of desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Evaluate new hardware and software to meet facility requirements.
• Maintain inventory of internal licenses and track compliance.
• Maintain inventory of hardware.
• Assists in the assessment of user training needs; coordinates system applications training and performs in‑house training (as needed).
• Support and emulate high customer service standards internally and externally.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or computer science.
• At least one year experience working in Information Technology;
  Prefer 2 to 3 years of information technology experience to include desktop support, printer setup, and networking.
• Must be detail and task oriented with a good work ethic. The facility will provide training as necessary.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screen.
