Description Summary/ObjectivesTrewon is seeking a Lead Architecture Technician to support our Federal Government client. The Lead Architecture Technician functions as the technical lead for solution architecture development, working closely with system engineers and engineering teams to analyze requirements, develop enterprise and solution architectures, and document system interactions. The Lead Architecture Technician collaborates with Government personnel, leads a small team, manages performance, and oversees architecture development activities while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, documentation requirements, and established enterprise architecture processes.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
Solution Architecture development tasks consist of working closely with a system engineer and engineering team to develop architecture using a variety of data gathering and analysis techniques.
When conducting architecture development tasks, architects may review requirements, engineering drawings, engineering standards, technical and logistic documentation, and technical and training manuals to derive solution architectures for system engineer review.
Participate in team meetings and discussions to elicit data collection and identify potential requirements, attributes, and system interactions from team discussions. Draft architectures are captured in working documents, documented in Cameo for enterprise integration and generation of reports, and base-lined upon receipt of approval by the proper authority.
Solution Architecture development task interactions include one-on-one discussions both in person and remote, attendance at regularly scheduled team meetings, and follow-up telephone/email communications as required.
Must be proficient in leading a small team, collaborating with Government personnel, managing performance, and expertly proficient in Enterprise, Solution, and Reference Architecture development, analysis, and management.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years professional experience developing, analyzing, and managing architecture and possess at least 2 years of experience using System Architect.
Must possess proficient writing skills and must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be proficient and qualified to develop, format, proof, edit/revise, produce, and publish Requirements and/or EA documents in accordance with the cited compliance documents.
Must be proficient in the use of standard workstations and software (i.e. Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Zip Files, and Adobe Acrobat Pro, at a minimum).
Must be able to attend on-site meetings in-person.
Must have no less than a technical degree with at least 2 years of experience in Requirements and/or EA development, analysis, management, and/or documentation.
Must be able to travel to Government Sites for meetings.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant duties.
BS/BA or higher – applicable major preferred.

This position is fully onsite, five days per week, per our client. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. The core working hours are 9 AM – 3 PM Monday through Friday. Employees will take a mandatory meal break to cover a minimum of 30 minutes. Manager may grant variance depending on client (government or prime contractor) flow-down specifications, upon employer application.

Clearance required: Must have and maintain a US government SECRET security clearance.
