• Handle all phases of domestic and family law matters, from initial client consultations through resolution.
• Manage pleadings, discovery, negotiations, and contested litigation.
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Draft motions, petitions, agreements, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Mentor junior associates and provide guidance to support staff as needed.
• Support firm growth through client relationship development and participation in professional or community outreach.
• Ensure strict compliance with ethical obligations and firm policies.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law.
• Active Virginia Bar license.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel to courts throughout Northern Virginia.

• 5+ years of family law experience.
• Jury trial and substantial courtroom experience.
• Prior judicial clerkship experience.
