Pay rate: $12 – $15/hr full‑time and part‑time positions available.
Responsibilities- Assemble furniture of all kinds, including IKEA, office and home furniture, fitness equipment, patio furniture, and sporting goods.
- Move furniture and lift up to 100 lbs.
- Travel to customer locations in Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.
- Work Monday through Sunday, including evenings, weekends and overtime as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and communicate professionally with customers in English.
- Apply problem‑solving skills to handle unexpected assembly issues and explain solutions to customers.
- Adhere to safety practices and maintain a safe work environment.
- Minimum 1 year experience in installation and assembly of furniture, including IKEA furniture.
- High School Diploma or GED required, with experience in furniture assembly.
- Reliable car and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to use power tools such as cordless drill, corded drill, hammer, screwdriver.
- Self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and manage job times and priorities.
- Legal right to work in the USA.
- Pass a clean background and drug test, and comply with company’s core values and beliefs.
- Stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Kneel or bend for long periods of time.
- Carry and transport heavy equipment, and lift heavy items up to 100 lbs.
- Work safely and follow company safety guidelines.
