As a Nurse Manager, you’ll play a vital role in providing compassionate care, mentoring staff, and maintaining high clinical standards. You will act as a key resource for the entire facility during your shift, overseeing nursing services, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and hospital standards.

- Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor, report, and document patient behavior and medical status.
- Administer medications and treatments following best practices.
- Assist in responding to medical or behavioral crises in collaboration with the physician and nurse manager.
- Conduct monthly facility rounds to ensure infection control compliance.
- Monitor hand hygiene for staff and patients.
- Track and report infections while overseeing annual flu vaccinations.
- Oversee scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in hiring and onboarding new nurses.
- Conduct random chart audits and monthly medication counts.
- Foster a positive team culture by implementing morale-boosting initiatives.
- Mentor and support new nurses, ensuring successful integration into the team.

Qualifications- Registered Nurse (RN) License in a state participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain certification).
- Experience in psychiatric or rehabilitation settings (preferred).
- Leadership skills and a passion for mentoring and developing nursing teams.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
