Registered Nurse – Infusion
Leesburg, VA
Pay From: $40 per hour
Qualifications- One year of nursing experience (preferably in outpatient)
- Strong IV skills
- Experience accessing ports is preferred
- Strong knowledge of chemotherapy drugs is a plus
- Registered Nurse Licensure to work in the state of Virginia
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Extremely compassionate
- Reliable with a great attitude
- Strong clinical experience and confidence
- Preparing patients for chemotherapy
- Reviewing expectations with the patient and their families
- Monitoring patients for adverse reactions
- Scheduling patients for follow up appointments
- Administering pre-medications for patients
- Chemotherapy infusion
- Basic familiarity of proper medication dosing and use
