Adjunct Clinical Faculty-Nursing

Shenandoah University’s Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing isaccepting applications for an adjunct clinical faculty for both ofour locations (Main Campus and Loudoun accelerated-second degreenursing program).

The Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing aims to empower lifelonglearners who provide evidence-based, compassionate care to promote wellness for all.

The Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Shenandoah University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools(SACS). The School of Nursing offers baccalaureate (4 yeartraditional, transfer, and accelerated second-degree options),Master’s (Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and Nurse
- Midwifery (NM), Post Graduate Certificates (FNP, PMHNP, NM), and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The School of Nursing has two physicallocations:
Winchester Main Campus and Loudoun, and Graduateprograms are offered online with onsite campus immersions.

• This adjunct teaching appointment involves teachingresponsibilities in the School of Nursing, teaching clinicalrotations in various specialties.

• Unencumbered RN license in Virginia, compact state, oreligibility required.
• Demonstration of previous clinical experience (at least three years) in an area of speciality
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher

• Doctoral degree DNP/PhD, or Master of Science In Nursing
• Academic Experience
