Adjunct Clinical Faculty-Nursing

Shenandoah University’s Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing is accepting applications for an adjunct clinical faculty for both ofour locations (Main Campus and Loudoun accelerated-second degree nursing program).

The Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing aims to empower lifelong learners who provide evidence-based, compassionate care to promote wellness for all.

The Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Shenandoah University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools(SACS). The School of Nursing offers baccalaureate (4 year traditional, transfer, and accelerated second-degree options),Master’s (Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and Nurse
- Midwifery (NM), Post Graduate Certificates (FNP, PMHNP, NM), and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The School of Nursing has two physic allocations:
Winchester Main Campus and Loudoun, and Graduate programs are offered online with onsite campus immersions.

• This adjunct teaching appointment involves teaching responsibilities in the School of Nursing, teaching clinical rotations in various specialties.

• Unencumbered RN license in Virginia, compact state, or eligibility required.
• Demonstration of previous clinical experience (at least three years) in an area of speciality
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher

• Doctoral degree DNP/PhD, or Master of Science In Nursing
• Academic Experience
