Urogynecology App Position

Inova Health is seeking a skilled Urogynecology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing team. This role will be full-time. Relocation assistance available.

As gynecology subspecialists we treat pelvic floor problems that can cause women pain or significantly limit activities and enjoyment in their daily lives. We treat women from all over the mid-Atlantic region and beyond who come to us for specialized care. Urogynecology APP

Job Responsibilities:

• Join a collaborative team of 6 Urogynecologists and 3 Advanced Practice Providers across four locations (Fair Oaks, Loudoun, Oakville, and Willow Oaks)
• Outpatient clinical care
• Conditions treated by Inova Urogynecology:
• Urinary incontinence
• Overactive bladder
• Stress incontinence
• Voiding dysfunction
• Pelvic organ prolapse
• Defecatory dysfunction
• Fecal incontinence
• Constipation
• Perform pelvic examinations
• Perform or assist with in-office procedures
• Collaborate with pediatric neurologists and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive, family-centered care.
• Document clinical encounters accurately and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and professional development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of a post masters certificate program for nurse practitioners, OR certificate from an education program that is accredited by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs/Schools, American College of Nurse Midwives, American Association of Colleges of Nursing of the National League for Nursing. For physician Assistants, graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
