Responsibilities
- Go out to clients’ homes to provide in‑home consultations and quotes for their flooring project
- Use a consultative sales approach (No high pressure sales) – measure accurately, show flooring samples in the home, and help customers reach a solution to meet their goals and budget
- Use our tablet estimating software and keep accurate records in Salesforce regarding follow‑up communication
- Hand off job details to install manager to help jobs go smoothly and conduct post‑installation walkthroughs
- Maintain customer relationships and develop key referral sources to generate ongoing business
- Develop business partner relationships for ongoing business
- Generate leads through networking and prospecting to supplement company‑provided leads
- 2+ years of in‑home sales experience
- Ideal candidates have a track record selling $1 million annually
- Valid U.S. Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs and walk up flights of stairs to customers’ homes
- Ability to work some weeknights and weekends
- Computer skills and ability to learn our tablet estimating software
