You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide clear communication and customer service to employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $24.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thursday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials and directing visitors and/or vendors to the proper check-in process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts, coordinating with site teams, and documenting actions taken.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, maintain logs of patrols and access activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
