Security Officer - Patrol

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, reporting hazards, and/or coordinating with clinical staff and local first responders as directed;
Control access at designated doors and checkpoints by verifying identification when required, monitoring visitor flow, and/or documenting entries according to site policy;
Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and key events, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts
