Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol – Leesburg, VA. Part‑time. Pay: $24.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Saturday 09:15 AM – 05:15 PM;
Sunday 11:45 AM – 05:15 PM.

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access screening activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with assigned duties and site policies.
• Monitor entrances, screening areas, and restricted locations to deter unauthorized access, prohibited items, and/or disruptive behavior.
• Support public‑facing operations by verifying identification, directing foot traffic, and communicating clearly with employees, visitors, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Armed guard card or license.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• DCJS license in Virginia.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
