** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.

+ Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas, assist with access-related concerns, and document incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activity according to site protocols.

+ Support a professional environment by providing directions, de-escalating routine conflicts when appropriate, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ CPR/First Aid is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
