** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to de-escalate concerns involving patients, visitors, and staff.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and sensitive areas, document observations and incidents, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.

+ Support daily operations by assisting with directions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders related to healthcare environments and patient care areas.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
