Entry Level Cable Technician

Anistar is seeking entry level cable technicians for a long term opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables in a new construction environment.

Job responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the pulling/installation of new fiber/cat6 cables in a new construction environment
• Rack and cabinet fabrication and installation
• Installation of cable support structures – fiber tray, cable tray, ladder rack, etc.
• Manual labor – moving boxes and materials around the job site
• Must be able to follow directions and learn
• Must have prior commercial new construction experience
• Must be able to work with a large team

Requirements include:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated work platforms (boom and/or scissor lift)
• Must be capable of lifting 50-75lbs
• Must be able to follow directions and learn
