Network Cabling Technician
We are seeking a Network Cabling Technician. All applicants must be willing to travel to the client site. Responsibilities include coordinating cabling requirements and planning deployments with site owners and scheduling teams. Install, lay, and organize network cables, ensuring proper bundling and neat routing. Terminate cables using proper connectors and label all cables per project standards. Test cables after installation to verify correct termination and provide soft copy test results.
Repair network ends of ethernet cables as needed.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED. Minimum six (6) years of relevant cabling installation experience. One or more BICSI credentials required: BICSI Installer 1 (INST1) BICSI Installer 2 Copper (INSTC) BICSI Installer 2 Optical Fiber (INSTF) BICSI Technician (Tech). Ability to travel nationwide to FAA locations for scheduled project work. Valid driver's license. Preferred active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one for FAA PIV card issuance.
Prior experience working in federal government or FAA facility environments.
