The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) invites applications for the Maintenance Trainee in Bus Maintenance. This two-year apprenticeship progresses through four training levels with classroom and on-the-job learning, leading to a General Transit Bus Garage Mechanic C role under supervision and mentorship.
Candidates should have a High School Diploma with vocational training; a CDL with endorsements is preferred or achievable during the program.
