AboutThis Role
As the Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in delivering insights to APS’s management and decision makers. You will be an essential member of our corporate team, ensuring the accurate and timely recording and reconciliation of financial activity. We value adaptability and are seeking a candidate who can manage various accounting processes. The Senior Accountant must possess a working understanding of US GAAP and should be comfortable navigating various reporting systems.
KeyAreas of Responsibility
- Collaborate effectively with the accounting team and across corporate departments.
- Fulfill key period financial close processes, meeting accounting deadlines.
- Provide subject matter expertise and support to accounting team.
- Review GL reconciliations and fully substantiate GL balances.
- Prepare periodic GAAP, lender compliance, and Pro Forma financial reporting.
- Present full balance sheet reconciliations to Controller on a quarterly basis.
- Support year‑end audits, and periodic reviews.
- Assist Controller with ad‑hoc GAAP, Pro‑Forma, Tax, and other financial projects.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree, Accounting or Finance. CPA, MBA or MAcc Preferred.
- Experience working with Mid to Enterprise scale ERP software solutions. (e.g. Net Suite, Workday, Salesforce, ADP).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
