Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This role requires a detail‑oriented professional who ideally has previous audit experience, the ability to solve complex problems, and the confidence to manage responsibilities independently. The ideal candidate is also an effective mentor who can guide and oversee interns while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and support audit‑related activities, including preparing documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards
  • Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and develop practical solutions to accounting challenges
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational skills
  • Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and reports
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement more efficient accounting practices
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide training to accounting interns, ensuring their work meets quality standards
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with other departments to support financial operations and reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
  • 2–4 years of experience in a related accounting; focus on audit is preferred
  • Advanced degree or a CPA is preferred but not required
  • Experience working with financial statement audits
  • Experience in Xero accounting software is preferred but not required
  • Advanced Google Sheet/​MS Excel skills
  • Self‑motivated and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
