What You'll Do
  • Lead end-to-end commercial strategy for global cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including complex enterprise agreements, consumption optimization, and long-term capacity planning.
  • Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Finance to translate cloud usage patterns into actionable sourcing strategies that reduce total cost of ownership while maintaining performance and resilience.
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies for multi-year cloud commitments, marketplace agreements, and emerging cloud-native services.
  • Utilize governance mechanisms that improve visibility into cloud spend, usage forecasting, and risk management.
  • Monitor market trends across hyperscalers and cloud ecosystem vendors to inform build vs. buy decisions and long-term platform strategy.
  • Proactively seek value-creating opportunities across spend categories.
  • Oversee the process of disseminating and following contract obligations, and instituting a complete strategy to approach renewal.
  • Develop, issue, and coordinate RFx activity and lead commercial negotiations to find the best sourcing solution for Adobe.
  • Ensure proper risk mitigation through liaising and contributing with Legal. Help internal partners obtain robust Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure reliable performance.
  • Report progress on a weekly basis, indicating work planning and work in progress. Add agreements, service details and payment forecasts into procurement systems in a complete and timely manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement and organizational change initiatives.
What You'll Need
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or similar (preference: MBA, or JD).
  • Strategic Sourcing/Procurement-related industry certification(s) a plus.
  • Preference: 6-10 years' experience in Strategic Sourcing with an emphasis in cloud software or software as a service.
  • Deep market knowledge software contracting trends, licensing models, and business models.
  • Experience leading teams, formal people leadership preferred.

  • Familiarity with BI reporting and spend analysis.
  • High attention to detail and the exercise of sound judgment and decision-making.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to synthesize and present complex matters and data analysis in executive presentation views with insightful commentary.
  • Willing to train users in new processes, policies, and procedures or technologies.
