About the TeamThe Customer Support Payroll team at Rippling is a dedicated group of professionals committed to ensuring our customers have a seamless experience with our Finance, HR, and IT platform. What You Will Do- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll‑related issues and guide customers through payroll processing, tax filing, and compliance questions.
- Become the go‑to product expert on our Global Payroll and HR capabilities for customers in your region.
- Develop and maintain clear, accurate documentation, FAQs, and other content to support customers and internal teams.
- Analyze support interactions to identify trends and pain points, and recommend improvements.
- Partner with regional Product Managers to provide insights on support volume, customer feedback, and compliance concerns.
- Serve as a senior resource and point of escalation for complex, region‑specific payroll issues.
- Own and resolve challenging customer cases using deep platform and country‑specific payroll expertise.
- 1–4 years of customer support experience in the US payroll domain.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills; proven ability to investigate and resolve complex discrepancies.
- Preferred:
Experience in a payroll provider, HR software company, or large in‑house payroll function. - Bachelor's degree.
- Time‑management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Current residence in a Pacific or Mountain time‑zone state; ability to work a shift between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. PST.

CompensationThis role offers competitive salary, benefits, and equity. Salary ranges for US‑based employees are:
- Tier 2: $23.49 per hour
- Tier 3: $22.19 per hour
