We are looking to expand our team by adding an additional Project Foreman to monitor and executes tasks by managing and supporting crew leaders, ensuring production, safety and quality expectations. Partnering with Superintendents, General Foreman, Assistant Superintendents, they will be responsible for completing task in a timely manner, ensuring we stay within budget and timeline. They will work with the team to continue the plan and ensure to abide by the look ahead schedules.

The project Foreman may specialize in single trades (e.g dirt work or mechanical piping) or multiple areas. This individual must have at least 3-6 years’ of continuous experience as a foreman preferably with water / waste water treatment construction project management and/or excavation, river diversions, bridges, water tank construction management.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage project assignments by delegating tasks to crew leaders based on project size, complexity, and schedule.
  • Plan ahead to optimize crew performance and communicate necessary resources to direct supervisors.
  • Serve as the primary leader on smaller projects, handling tasks such as coordinating concrete orders, scheduling pump trucks, and interacting with inspectors or subcontractors.
Specific Tasks and Examples
  • Provide crew leaders with plans, specifications, and clear expectations for tasks.
  • Collaborate with direct supervisors to address testing/inspections, special instructions, milestone deadlines, and team qualifications.
  • Ensure appropriate equipment and risk management plans are in place.
Project Assignments

Examples of specific assignments include leading the construction of wastewater clarifiers or other structures. In these cases, project foremen must:

  • Guide crew leaders in task execution and milestone completion.
  • Handle coordination for inspections, testing, and material deliveries.
  • Evaluate crew qualifications and address project risks proactively.
Position Responsibilities
  • Act as a mentor for crew leaders, working alongside them and their crews approximately 80% of the time.
  • Dedicate 20% of the time to planning next steps, training crew leaders, and ensuring efficient and productive work.
  • Drive performance by leveraging crew leaders, setting clear expectations, and holding them accountable.
  • Possess subject matter expertise in various craft responsibilities, ensuring expectations are consistently met.
  • Demonstrate adequate craft skills to effectively supervise other employees.
  • Prioritize the well-being, productivity, and development of crew members.
  • Foster a positive, supportive work culture with strong communication and teamwork.
  • Emphasize safety by enforcing protocols, providing proper equipment, and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Set the standard for punctuality, maintaining at least 40 hours per week, a positive attitude, and adherence to company principles and values.
Required Qualifications
  • 3-6 Years experience as a foreman preferably with waste water / water treatment construction projects or of equivalent nature.
