Job Overview

Jr Construction Field Assistant – entry level construction field position assisting the Construction team with daily model maintenance, communication with customers, and safety and cleanliness in the community.

• Assist the Construction Manager with construction responsibilities, including supervision and scheduling of trade partners from trench to customer move‑in.
• Create and enhance the TDH experience for current and prospective customers.
• Daily monitor model cleanliness and system functionality, and document and schedule repairs for interior and exterior maintenance concerns.
• Communicate detailed home progress to customers via email, verbal updates and video conference from purchase agreement through COE.

• Minimum one (1) year of related experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Requires regular in‑person attendance at company communities and job sites during regular work hours. Must work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move or carry equipment exceeding 50 pounds, and occasionally operate construction equipment. Finger dexterity needed for keyboard and calculator use.
