Job Description
One of the top Healthcare Insurance Companies based out of Utah is interested in adding a Premium Billing Specialist to their team in Murray, UT. The team is interested in talent with previous Financial and Healthcare customer service experience.
Responsibilities- Provide superior customer service while independently completing Premium Billing functions, including analyzing, researching, and problem-solving.
- Understand billing processes and procedures; resolve customer phone inquiries.
- Complete daily outbound calls as assigned.
- Receive inbound calls from Select Health customers, both internal and external, and provide superior customer service for routine phone calls that is consistent with company values and quality standards.
- Resolve customer issues on the initial call or provide timely follow-up when additional research is required.
- Follow established criteria for response time, call handling time, and availability.
- Demonstrate understanding of department policy by passing audits.
- Stay current and fully understand billing policies and procedures to provide accurate and appropriate information.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Good phone voice and strong communication skills.
- One year of customer service experience (healthcare experience not required).
- Intermediate computer skills in spreadsheets and word processing software.
