About the RoleYou’ll work as a Customer Service Representative for our patient registration (Customer Service) team, handling patient check‑in, answering phones, and collecting vital health and insurance information in a fast‑paced hospital/lab environment.
Responsibilities- Work across multiple computer screens to input patient and insurance data accurately and quickly.
- Answer phones to gather information while managing interruptions from clinicians for emergent care.
- Offer empathy and support to patients who may be ill or worried, building rapport and easing anxiety.
- Ask follow‑up questions to ensure complete and correct data collection.
- Maintain a fast‑paced workflow, working on your feet while assisting patients.
- Adapt to varying health plans and coverage details through training.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Excellent customer service experience.
- Preferred: medical or healthcare experience.
- Must be up to date on all vaccinations, pass a drug test, and pass a background check prior to hire.
US-based position: $16.12–$23.21 per hour, based on role, level, location, and experience.
