Job SummaryThe Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing Department, at Weber State University seeks innovative and enthusiastic faculty who have a passion for nursing and nursing education. This is a 12-month tenure‑track faculty position.
ResponsibilitiesTeaching assignments are contingent upon qualifications and experience. Selected candidates will teach in the Associate Degree Nursing program and may teach in a variety of modalities (face‑to‑face, online, lab, simulation, and/or clinical) at various campus locations. All faculty are required to plan, implement, and elevate the existing curriculum.
Required Qualifications- Master of Science in Nursing and graduation from an ACEN or CCNE–accredited nursing program (or related/equivalent)
- Active, unencumbered state of Utah or compact state registered nurse or advanced practice registered nurse license
- Basic technology skills
- Criminal background check required as a condition of employment
- Doctorate degree in nursing or related field
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to integrate technology in nursing education
- Previous experience as a nurse educator
- Teaching experience in higher education
Clinical nursing experience in related areas of teaching - Demonstrated scholarship activities
- Authored publications in peer‑reviewed journals
